DESTINATION WEDDING FILMS IN PORTUGAL

Cinematic Destination Wedding Films
Told As A Complete Story

Multi-day storytelling for couples who want more than just a highlight film.

It’s Not Just The Views

Portugal has this way of making everything feel a little more relaxed.

The light’s beautiful, yes — and the landscapes are incredible —

but what I really notice is how couples slow down.

There’s space to breathe.

Space to be together.

Space to actually take it all in.

When people travel somewhere meaningful to get married, the story isn’t just the ceremony.

It’s the build-up.

The nerves.

The quiet moments.

The laughter the night before.

And that’s the part I love capturing.

Filmic, honest storytelling without staging every moment

I don’t just record a wedding.

I spend the day with you, capturing real moments, laughter, tears, quiet glances — everything in between.

I’m down-to-earth, so we can have honest chats, joke around, and let things happen naturally.

My approach:

  • Multi-day coverage for a full story

  • Cinematic pacing: not rushed, not over-edited

  • Focus on emotion over perfection

  • Capture the “in-between” moments no one else notices

By the end of the day, you don’t just get a highlight film, you get your story, told like a movie.

Series Experience

A Multi-Day Documentary

This isn’t just a wedding film.

It’s your story, told over multiple days, as a cinematic series.

What you get:

  • 8 episodes, each 30–45 minutes long

  • Total runtime: 5–6 hours of storytelling

  • Moments you’d never capture on a single day: prep, anticipation, ceremony, celebrations, quiet in-between

  • Edited like a series, with opening sequences, chapters, and reflection

I capture real laughter, tears, and everything in between, so your wedding feels alive every time you watch it.

For couples who want a single cinematic film instead of a series, a feature-length version is available — with opening sequence, end credits, and optional bloopers.

The Feature Film Add on

Your Wedding as a Movie

Perfect if you love the Series Experience but want a single story to watch and share.

  • 1–2 hour film

  • Chapters & opening sequence

  • Includes audio-driven moments

  • Optional bloopers for fun

FAQ's

Do you travel from the UK?

This is agreed during the schedule meeting. But for a typical wedding you can expect me to arrive on location for some drone shots and detail shots from about 10am and then i typically wrap about 8pm-9pm

There is flexibility for this depending on your schedule.

What would you say is your style?

We sit somewhere in between the documentary/reality but with a touch of movie style too.  The documentary/reality aspect comes from the realistic conversations, mic'ing up lots of people and interviewing them.  The movie aspect comes from the opening sequence, end credits and the shot composition/framing.

How many days do you stay for a destination wedding?

This is agreed during the schedule meeting. But for a typical wedding you can expect me to arrive on location for some drone shots and detail shots from about 9am-10am and then i typically wrap about 8pm-9pm

There is flexibility for this depending on your schedule.

Can we choose the music?

Due to copyright and licensing, we cannot put any song from the charts in your film. We use licensed music which is equivalent to that in the charts and will be tailored to suit your wedding's vibe. We listen to hundreds and hundreds of songs before finding the right ones for you.

What if there is bad weather on the day?

I always check the weather before, I will pack a raincoat and umbrella if need be to protect my camera gear. I don't mind getting wet, it would just mean i'd be wearing my comfies, over a formal suit.

It would however mean that the drone wouldn't be used if there is rain/heavy wind.

When will we receive our film?

Turn around is subject to how busy the season is. Typically you can expect;

  • Your screen-grab teasers within 48 hours.

  • If booked a teaser trailer - 1 week

  • Mini Highlights Opening Sequence 2-4 Weeks

  • Feature Film 4-8 Weeks

  • Series 6-8 Weeks after the final interviews

What makes the Series Experience different

With the series we capture the whole most from your whole elopement experience, talking with your loved ones. It's not just the wedding day you will look back on fondly. It will be those breakfasts with all your friends. It will be the day trip or the pool party after the wedding. It will be the late night searching for a kebab.
